University of Basrah Dominates Iraqi Scientific Rankings with Six Departments in First Place
The College of Agriculture at the University of Basrah achieved first place in the 2025 national ranking of scientific departments among Iraqi universities, securing first place in six departments. Two other departments also achieved second place, reflecting the college's excellence and leadership in academic quality standards and institutional performance.
This achievement is a result of the continuous support from the university's president, Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kadhim Al-Asadi, and the strategic plans implemented by the college's deanship, Dr. Sarmad Ghazi Mohammed Al-Shawi.
The deanship affirmed its commitment to continuing efforts to enhance scientific research and elevate the academic level.
