Basra Veterinary Medicine College Achieves Second Place in Iraqi National University Rankings
The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah has achieved a new academic milestone by securing second place in the Iraqi National University and College Rankings, published annually by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to assess the quality of institutional and academic performance.
This achievement reflects the college's commitment to sustained excellence, having successfully maintained its position within the "golden square" for several consecutive years, demonstrating the stability of its educational and research quality.
The Dean of the College, Dr. Jalal Yassin Mustafa, stated that this result holds strategic importance given the intense competition. The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah outperformed 14 other colleges across Iraq, thus confirming its scientific leadership and its ability to implement international quality standards in veterinary education.
