University of Basrah Holds a Lecture on Teaching Methods and Facilitation Strategies for Engineering Specialization
The Continuing Education and Development Center at the University of Basrah organized a scientific lecture on teaching methods and facilitation strategies as part of the fifth unit of the engineering specialization within the sixth Teaching Methods Course.
The lecture aimed to enable trainees to understand the concept of the flipped classroom and its importance in developing the educational process, as well as to enhance skills in expressing opinions and effectively applying this strategy within classroom settings.
The lecture, delivered by Dr. Uday Bashir Issa, introduced facilitation strategies and highlighted the role of the teacher as a facilitator, methods for stimulating student interaction, and a discussion of potential challenges, in addition to reviewing the educational benefits associated with adopting this modern strategy.
