University President Launches the “Green Campus” Initiative
The President of the University of Basrah, Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazem Al-Asadi, has launched an initiative aimed at expanding green spaces within the university campus.
Dr. Al-Asadi stated that the initiative seeks to increase green areas and rehabilitate university gardens in order to provide a healthy educational environment, promote environmental awareness among students and staff, and transform the university into a role model in preserving natural resources.
Coinciding with the launch of the initiative, the University President conducted an inspection tour that included administrative and service departments, during which he reviewed the progress of administrative work and listened directly to the observations and feedback of employees.
