University of Basrah Organizes Workshop on Data Analysis Using Modern Methods
The Ibn Sina Center for E-Learning at the University of Basrah organized an online workshop on data analysis using modern methods, as part of a course to develop scientific research at the university. The workshop was attended by professors and researchers.
The workshop aimed to introduce participants to methods of data collection and analysis for use in rigorous scientific research, as well as techniques such as coding and content analysis.
The workshop, presented by Ms. Iman Qais Abdul-Jalil, Director of the Scientific Research Division, included an explanation of the most important digital programs used in data analysis for both humanities and science disciplines, including SPSS, Python, and MS Excel, for identifying patterns, themes, and similarities.
