University of Basrah Holds its Annual Poetry Festival in Celebration of the Births of the Imams
The Cultural Center at Basrah University, in cooperation with the College of Arts, held its annual poetry festival in celebration of the births of the infallible Imams (peace be upon them) during the blessed month of Sha'ban.
The celebration included the recitation of religious hymns and poems highlighting the noble lives of the Imams, their intellectual and humanitarian impact, and the righteous path they established in guiding the Muslim nation towards righteousness and guidance. Religious and poetic competitions were also held.
