For the Second Consecutive Day… University of Basrah Continues Global Entrepreneurship Week Activities at the College of Engineering
In the presence of the President of the University of Basrah, Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazem, the College of Engineering hosted the activities of Global Entrepreneurship Week, as part of the University’s efforts to foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among its students and encourage them to transform scientific ideas into viable projects that contribute to community service and support sustainable development.
The activities included a special exhibition showcasing students’ ideas and projects, featuring a wide range of initiatives that reflected the high level of creativity and scientific capability of University students, as well as their commitment to developing practical solutions to contemporary challenges across various fields.
The President of the University stated that such activities enhance the spirit of initiative and teamwork, open new horizons for students to understand entrepreneurship concepts, and help them build essential skills required by the labor market. He also emphasized the importance of supporting promising ideas and linking them to real-world applications, contributing to the preparation of a generation capable of creativity, competitiveness, and effective participation in economic development.
