A master’s thesis at the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah examined the current state of financial technology (FinTech) companies and their impact on financial inclusion through an analytical study conducted on a sample of companies in Iraq and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia covering the period from 2018 to 2023.
The thesis, submitted by student Aqeel Qasim Hussein, aimed to identify the development of FinTech companies in both countries, analyze the nature of their activities, and assess their contribution to enhancing financial inclusion. The study also explored the operational mechanisms of these companies within both banking and non-banking markets.
