University of Basrah Organizes Seminar on the Digital Society and the New Culture
The Cultural Center at the University of Basrah, in collaboration with the Department of Information and Knowledge Technologies, organized a seminar entitled “The Digital Society and the New Culture”, with the participation of a select group of academics, specialists, and students.
The seminar aimed to enhance scientific understanding of the concept of the digital society and to explore its cultural and social implications, in addition to raising awareness of the importance of optimal technology use.
The event featured two research papers addressing the transformations brought about by digital technology in patterns of thinking and communication, as well as the role of digital culture in reshaping the relationship between the individual and society.
