University of Basrah Organizes Lecture on Teaching Profession Ethics for the Administrative Specialization
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah organized an academic lecture as part of the sixth unit of the sixth Teaching Methods course for the administrative specialization.
The lecture aimed to enhance ethical awareness among university instructors, particularly in uncertain decision-making environments.
Delivered by Dr. Manaf Abdul-Kadhim Mohammed and Instructor Marwa Mousa Atwan, the lecture covered topics such as the distinction between morals and ethics, methods for motivating students, objective assessment, and interactive learning. Emphasis was placed on avoiding unethical behaviors.
The lecture recommended the importance of embedding ethical values and principles in all educational practices.
