University of Basrah Holds Lecture on Quality in Education and the Seventh Unit of the Humanities Specialization
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah delivered a lecture on Quality in Education and the Seventh Unit of the Humanities Specialization as part of the Sixth Teaching Methods Course.
The lecture aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of the concept of Total Quality Management (TQM) in education, the principles and standards upon which it is based, and the importance of applying these standards in teaching to achieve educational objectives.
The session, presented by Dr. Samer Talib Dawood, covered several key themes, including the concept of quality, the objectives of quality in education, and quality standards in the educational process.
The lecture recommended that trainees from various scientific and humanities disciplines adopt total quality principles in education and across all aspects of life, emphasizing that quality should be embraced as a fundamental approach and indispensable way of life.
