University of Basrah, in Collaboration with Al-Maqal University, Organized a Student Scientific and Cultural Conference Entitled "Dental Horizons."
The College of Dentistry at the University of Basrah, in cooperation with the College of Dentistry at Al-Maqal University, organized the student scientific and cultural conference, "Dental Horizons," as part of its efforts to enhance academic cooperation and scientific exchange between universities.
The conference aimed to refine, develop, and support students' scientific skills and expertise, ensuring the optimal utilization of their talents and abilities for individual and societal benefit, and contributing to the provision of promising scientific talent to the health sector.
The conference program included general scientific lectures specializing in dentistry, focusing on linking this vital discipline to other fields of life and basic sciences, such as biology, physics, and chemistry. This approach fosters an integrated understanding of scientific knowledge and broadens students' research and cultural horizons.
Dr. Asaad Mohammed Kadhim, Dean of the College of Dentistry, emphasized that this conference represents a significant milestone in supporting student scientific activities and establishing an academic environment conducive to creativity and excellence, in line with the University of Basrah's vision for developing the educational and research process.
