The College of Education for Pure Sciences at University of Basrah, in cooperation with the Center for Development and Continuing Education and the Psychological Guidance and Counseling Unit, organized a workshop entitled “The Role of Electronic Educational وسائل in the Treatment of Children with Autism.”
The workshop aimed to emphasize the employment of digital technologies, artificial intelligence applications, and interactive systems in supporting rehabilitation programs for children with autism spectrum disorder and speech difficulties.
The workshop addressed several themes, including the design of intelligent educational systems, the utilization of mobile and tablet applications, and the role of digital games, as well as virtual and augmented reality technologies, in behavioral training.
The lecture was delivered by Professor Munther Abdul Sattar Jameel, with the participation of a distinguished group of academic staff members. The event also featured scientific discussions that highlighted the importance of investing in technology to support individuals with special needs.
