The Center for Development and Continuing Education at University of Basrah organized a lecture on research methodology as part of the eighth and final unit of the Sixth Teaching Methods Course within the medical specialization.
The lecture, which forms part of the Sixth Teaching Methods Course, aimed to develop participants’ skills in academic research writing, introduce the general characteristics of research methodology, and explain the principles of publishing in reputable scientific journals.
The lecture, delivered by Dr. Mais Basil Khalil and Dr. Khadija Sami Madi, addressed the concept of research methodology, types of scientific research, its general characteristics, the structure of academic research writing, methods of identifying reputable journals, international scientific standards, and publication procedures.
