The Center for Development and Continuing Education at University of Basrah organized a lecture on research methodology as part of the eighth unit of the Sixth Teaching Methods Course within the administrative specialization.
The lecture, which forms part of the updated Teaching Methods curriculum adopted for the southern region, aimed to develop participants’ skills in research methodology and to highlight the role of academic supervision in scientific research.
The lecture, delivered by Dr. Manaf Abdul-Kadhim Mohammed and lecturer Marwa Mousa Atwan, addressed a general overview of the concept of scientific research, the personal and organizational motivations for conducting research, the objectives of scientific research, the role of the research supervisor, and the main characteristics of scientific inquiry.
The lecture recommended the continued development of research methodology strategies to enhance academic research practices.
