University of Basrah Launches Tree Planting and Green Space Development Campaign
The College of Agriculture at the University of Basrah launched a large-scale volunteer campaign to plant seedlings and trees, targeting gardens and green spaces in the College of Computer Science and Information Technology and the Student Affairs building, as part of its efforts to enhance the university environment and improve the urban landscape.
The campaign saw active participation from the Dean's Administrative Assistant, Dr. Wael Ali Sawadi, the Director of the Consulting Office, Dr. Mohsen Abdul-Hay Dashar, and the Head of the Student Activities Unit, Dr. Waleed Latif Mu'ayridh, along with a number of staff members and student volunteers.
The campaign was carried out in cooperation with the College of Agriculture's nursery, which provided seedlings suitable for the local environmental conditions.
