Ministerial Delegation Inspects the College of Education in Al-Qurna in Preparation for Establishing a PhD Program in Life Sciences
The College of Education in Al-Qurna, University of Basrah, received a specialized ministerial delegation from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to assess the logistical, scientific, and infrastructural capabilities as part of the procedures for establishing a doctoral program in the Department of Life Sciences.
The visit included a field tour of the central laboratory for postgraduate studies and the specialized laboratories of the Department of Life Sciences. The delegation reviewed the development of research equipment and technologies and the readiness of the halls and libraries to support researchers' work, while ensuring compliance with the required academic and research standards for establishing the planned doctoral program.
For his part, the Dean of the College, Dr. Ali Dharab Shaaban, explained that this initiative is part of the Deanship's strategic plan to enhance scientific rigor and expand the horizons of academic research. He emphasized the College's commitment to providing a comprehensive research environment that meets the aspirations of researchers and contributes to supplying society with highly specialized scientific expertise.
