Master's Thesis at the University of Basrah Examines the Spatial Analysis of Car Traffic
A master's thesis at the College of Arts, University of Basrah, examined the spatial analysis of car traffic in the Shatt al-Arab district.
The thesis, submitted by student Hajar Jabr Ghaib, aimed to analyze the spatial distribution of car traffic in the Shatt al-Arab district, identify traffic density patterns and their causes, uncover problems and obstacles that hinder traffic flow, and propose appropriate solutions to improve the efficiency of the road network.
The thesis comprised four chapters in which the student discussed the historical development of car traffic in the Shatt al-Arab district from 1960 to 2024, the natural characteristics and human factors affecting car traffic in the Shatt al-Arab district in 2024, and the future prospects for transportation in the district.
