University of Basrah Holds a Lecture on Selecting a Research Topic in the Educational Specialization
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah delivered a scientific lecture on how to select a research topic, as part of the eighth unit of the Educational Specialization within the Sixth Teaching Methods Course.
The lecture aimed to acquaint participants with the principles of generating and selecting research ideas, as well as the criteria adopted in determining educational research topics in alignment with academic quality standards.
Delivered by Dr. Zainab Falih Salem, the lecture addressed the fundamental components of scientific research, the mechanisms for distinguishing between results and conclusions, and the importance of formulating sound recommendations. It also emphasized the necessity of building upon previous studies and adhering to the ethics of rigorous academic research.
