University of Basrah Organizes a Course on Time Series Data Analysis Using EViews Software
The Center for Development and Continuing Education, in cooperation with the College of Administration and Economics, organized a training course entitled "Time Series Data Analysis Using EViews Software."
The course aimed to enhance understanding of statistical concepts and measures, particularly descriptive statistics and regression analysis, and to connect them to labor market requirements. It also demonstrated the practical steps for applying linear models using EViews (v.12).
The course, presented by Dr. Bahaa Abdul-Razzaq Qasim and faculty member Shaimaa Qasim Mohsen, included an introduction to data analysis mechanisms, extracting results from the program's outputs, and interpreting them to serve practical applications.
The course recommended the necessity of employing statistical methods, modern software, and artificial intelligence techniques to support labor market decisions.
