A master's thesis at the College of Law, University of Basrah, examined international environmental protection from hazardous waste.
The thesis, submitted by student Fatima Jumaa Abdul-Ali, aimed to define hazardous waste, identify its various types, and explain its environmental and health impacts, as well as analyze the international legal framework governing its management.
The thesis comprised four chapters in which the student discussed the effectiveness of international agreements in reducing the risks of transboundary movement of hazardous waste.
