University of Basrah Organizes Workshop on Artificial Intelligence and Digital Curriculum Development
The College of Education in Al-Qurna, University of Basrah, organized a workshop entitled "Employing Smart Applications and Artificial Intelligence in Developing Teaching Skills," with the participation of academics interested in developing modern teaching methods.
The workshop aimed to explain the tools and mechanisms for evaluating the effectiveness of digital curricula and enhancing the academic system by keeping pace with digital transformations. It also highlighted how to utilize smart applications and multimedia in teaching and scientific research, as well as the use of modern electronic assessment tools.
The workshop included a lecture presented by several faculty members on developing a comprehensive professional development program for college faculty, focusing on enhancing skills in using artificial intelligence in the educational process.
The lecturers addressed the definition of digital curricula, their importance, and their direct impact on the quality of education. They also discussed the foundations of effective planning and user interface design to improve the learning experience.
