Organized by the University of Basrah, the College of Marine Sciences held a workshop entitled “The Role of University Discipline in Combating Electronic Blackmail.”
The workshop aimed to raise students’ awareness of the importance of university discipline and to enhance their understanding of the risks associated with electronic blackmail.
The program featured several research papers in which scholars examined the concept of electronic blackmail and its various forms, in addition to outlining effective mechanisms for addressing and managing cases of online extortion.
