University of Basrah Presents Pollution Control Projects at Entrepreneurship Week
As part of the University of Basrah's Entrepreneurship Week, the College of Science presented a range of research projects and initiatives aimed at supporting scientific innovation and providing modern solutions to health, environmental, and industrial challenges.
The Dean of the College of Science, Dr. Ali Abdul-Imam Abdul-Zahra, stated that the research projects covered areas such as medical diagnostics, biotechnology, environmental pollution control, and the development of eco-friendly solutions. These included the manufacturing and development of a highly sensitive aptamer-based sensor for diagnosing pathogens and environmental pollutants, and a project utilizing iron oxide particles and biomaterials in wastewater treatment.
