University of Basrah Organizes a Campaign to Plant Trees in its Public Spaces
The College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah organized a campaign to plant trees in the college's green spaces as part of its efforts to promote environmental awareness on campus.
The Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Ali Abdul-Imam Abdul-Zahra, stated that the campaign included planting a number of trees, plants, and seasonal flowers, with the aim of improving the university environment and creating an aesthetically pleasing atmosphere that contributes to a healthy and sustainable learning environment.
He emphasized the importance of spreading a culture of environmental conservation among students, faculty, and administrative staff at the college, and promoting a spirit of cooperation and volunteerism to instill a sense of social responsibility.
