University of Basrah Organizes Lecture on Drugs
The University's Psychological Counseling Center, in cooperation with the Department of Internal Affairs at the University of Basrah, organized a lecture entitled "Drugs and Psychotropic Substances and Methods of Prevention."
The lecture aimed to raise students' awareness of the dangers of drug and psychotropic substance addiction and its most significant negative effects on individuals and society.
The lecture, presented by Lamia Subhi Nasser, a faculty member at the center, covered the causes of drug and psychotropic substance addiction, the most common symptoms, and methods of prevention, as well as the role of the family and community in mitigating this dangerous phenomenon.
