University of Basrah Organizes Lecture on Suicide
The University's Psychological Counseling Center, in cooperation with the Directorate of Dormitories at the University of Basrah, organized a lecture entitled "Suicide: Its Causes and Prevention."
The lecture aimed to raise students' awareness of the dangers of discussing the concept of suicide and the factors that encourage this phenomenon.
The lecture, presented by Ashwaq Jabbar Hammoud, a faculty member at the center, covered the causes and motives that lead to suicide, and the role of the family and society in reducing this serious phenomenon.
