PhD Thesis at the University of Basrah Examines British Policy Toward Yugoslavia
A PhD thesis at the University of Basrah explored British policy toward Yugoslavia (1941–1949).
The thesis, submitted by student Saad Khalaf Jabr, aimed to demonstrate how British policy toward Yugoslavia was influenced by international events affecting Europe during World War II and the early stages of the Cold War.
The study comprised four chapters, in which the student examined British policy toward Yugoslavia, issues related to Yugoslav borders, the international stance on these issues, and British responses to the escalation of the Soviet–Yugoslav dispute.
