The thesis, submitted by student Bidaa Nadhim Abdel Ameer, aimed to evaluate the quality of legal translation from Arabic to English by comparing machine translation systems with human translators in terms of accuracy and fluency.
The study consisted of four chapters, in which the student examined concepts related to contextual meaning, precise allocation of rights and obligations, and hypothesized that machine translation demonstrates a significantly lower level of accuracy and fluency compared to human translation.
