University of Basrah Organizes Workshop on Aesthetic Vision in Philosophy and Architecture
The College of Arts at the University of Basrah held a workshop on aesthetic vision and the epistemic integration between philosophy, art, and architecture.
The workshop aimed to introduce the concept of aesthetic vision and its philosophical, artistic, and architectural dimensions, promoting integrative approaches to constructing meaning, shaping spaces, and exploring the manifestations of place. It focused on examining the creative boundaries between philosophy, architecture, and the arts in a rapidly changing world.
Several research papers were presented during the workshop, in which scholars discussed the prospects of knowledge integration across disciplines. Participants emphasized the importance of fostering dialogue between philosophy, the arts, and architecture to gain a deeper understanding of beauty and creativity in a dynamic world.
