Higher Diploma Thesis at the University of Basrah Examines Strategic Thinking and Human Resources
A higher diploma thesis at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Basrah, investigated the impact of strategic thinking skills on human resource planning strategies. The study, conducted by student Hisham Kadhim Hamad, was an exploratory survey of a sample of managers in the Basra Health Directorate.
The research aimed to demonstrate the role of strategic thinking skills in developing human resource planning strategies through a hypothetical model that included two main variables.
The results showed that developing strategic thinking skills among managers contributes to improving the quality and effectiveness of human resource plans.
The research recommended that senior management support this strategy to contribute to human capital development and enhance the ability of health institutions to adapt to environmental changes.
