University of Basrah Organizes Workshop on Tolerance and Rejecting Extremism
The College of Arts at the University of Basrah organized a workshop on the culture of tolerance and the rejection of violence and extremism to promote the values of peaceful coexistence and constructive dialogue among members of society.
The workshop aimed to contribute to spreading a culture of tolerance and acceptance of others within academic institutions and community circles.
The workshop included the presentation of several research papers in which researchers discussed the concept of tolerance from a humanistic and social perspective, as well as the dangers of extremism and violence and their negative repercussions on the stability of societies.
