University of Basrah Launches Tree-Planting Campaign at Karma Ali Campus
The University Counseling Center at the University of Basrah launched an extensive tree-planting campaign across the gardens and corridors of the center as part of ongoing efforts to promote environmental awareness and improve the urban landscape within the university campus.
The campaign aimed to expand green spaces, contribute to improving air quality, and create a more aesthetically pleasing and conducive academic environment.
The initiative included planting a variety of seedlings and perennial trees. This campaign aligns with the University Presidency’s commitment to supporting environmental activities and fostering a culture of environmental preservation.
