University of Basrah Distributes Food Baskets to Needy Families
The College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah took the initiative to distribute food baskets to eligible needy families within the university as well as to citizens with limited incomes, on the occasion of the last ten days of the holy month of Ramadan.
Dr. Dawood Jalloub Halil, Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, explained that this campaign is part of the college’s annual activities in collaboration with the student volunteer team from the College of Law. The initiative aims to strengthen the spirit of cooperation and social solidarity while fulfilling the college’s social responsibility toward its community and its members, particularly employees on wages and contractual agreements.
