A Higher Diploma Study at the University of Basrah Examines the Role of Digital Transformation in Supporting Strategic Decision-Making
A Higher Diploma research study at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Basrah, examined the role of digital transformation in supporting strategic decision-making through a survey-based study of the views of a sample of administrative leaders in the Dhi Qar Health Directorate.
The research, presented by the student Hussein Abdul-Ridha Abdul-Hadi, aimed to examine the relationship between digital transformation and strategic decision-making and to identify its impact on enhancing the efficiency of administrative performance while keeping pace with technological developments.
The study included a review of relevant theoretical concepts as well as statistical data analysis to test the study’s hypotheses.
The results revealed varying levels of digital transformation implementation, along with noticeable gaps between the current reality and the requirements needed to effectively support strategic decision-making.
The study recommended the development of a strategic plan to strengthen the implementation of digital transformation.
