University of Basrah Organizes Religious Gathering for the Completion of the Holy Quran
The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah organized a religious gathering for the completion of the Holy Quran, with wide participation from faculty and students.
The gathering began with a beautiful recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a speech from the Dean of the College, Dr. Abdul-Hussein Tawfiq Shibli, who emphasized the importance of adhering to Quranic values in building a conscious academic personality. He also commended the efforts of the Guidance Unit and the Accounting Department in organizing the event.
The gathering aimed to reinforce Islamic values and enhance the spiritual atmosphere during the holy month of Ramadan, contributing to alleviating psychological stress.
It included a group reading of portions of the Holy Quran, culminating in the completion of a full recitation in a faith-filled atmosphere of reverence and contemplation.
