The thesis, submitted by student Zainab Hussam Jaafar, aimed to analyze four English translations of Imam Ali's (peace be upon him) Radiant Sermon and to demonstrate the translators' success in conveying its rhetorical, structural, and semantic characteristics.
The thesis comprised four chapters in which the student discussed the adoption of an analytical framework combining Julian House's model for evaluating translation quality with the stylistic approach of Leach and Short.
