University of Basrah Organizes a Lecture on Learning and Teaching for Agricultural and Veterinary Specializations
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah organized a scientific lecture on learning and teaching as part of the first module of the Seventh Teaching Methods Course, designated for the agricultural and veterinary disciplines.
The lecture, delivered by Dr. Muhannad Abdul-Hussein Aboud, addressed the concept of blended learning, highlighting the key differences between it and traditional education, as well as the challenges associated with its implementation in the educational environment.
It also reviewed the course themes and modern teaching methods, along with the criteria for selecting the most appropriate instructional approach according to the nature of each specialization. In addition, it discussed the principles of brainstorming and the limits of its application, emphasizing the importance of developing instructors’ skills in line with contemporary educational trends.
