University of Basrah Faculty Members Selected for Curriculum Update Committees
The Department of Studies, Planning, and Follow-up at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has selected a group of professors from the College of Law at University of Basrah to serve on committees tasked with updating the curricula in law colleges. This initiative aims to develop academic programs and keep pace with modern legal developments.
The Dean of the College, Dr. Aqeel Al-Dahhan, stated that the list of selected faculty members includes Dr. Ali Abdul-Aali Al-Asadi, who was chosen to head the Civil Law Curriculum Update Committee; Dr. Ghani Risan Jader, who was selected for the Civil Law Curriculum Update Committee; Dr. Hassan Hammad Hamid, who was selected for the Criminal Law Curriculum Update Committee; and Dr. I'tidal Abdul-Baqi Yousef, who was selected for the Commercial Law Curriculum Update Committee.
He added that this selection recognizes their scientific and academic expertise and their contribution to developing curricula that align with the demands of the job market.
