University of Basrah Organizes Lecture on Antiarrhythmic Drugs and Their Implications for Dental Practice
The College of Dentistry at the University of Basrah organized a lecture entitled “Antiarrhythmic Drugs and Their Implications for Dental Practice.”
The lecture aimed to enhance safe clinical decision-making skills for patients receiving anticoagulant therapy and to minimize potential complications, thereby improving the quality of clinical care within dental settings.
Delivered by Dr. Sarah Adel Haji, the lecture addressed the importance of understanding cardiac arrhythmias and the medications used in their management within the clinical context of dentistry. It also highlighted the challenges that dentists may encounter when treating patients with cardiovascular conditions.
