University of Basrah Organizes Workshop on the Management of Patients with Special Medical Conditions
The College of Dentistry at the University of Basrah organized a workshop entitled “Management of Patients with Special Medical Conditions.”
The workshop aimed to enhance students’ awareness of managing patients with systemic diseases and to emphasize the importance of obtaining an accurate and comprehensive medical history to ensure patient safety and reduce potential complications.
The workshop included a series of lectures addressing cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and hypertension, as well as mechanisms for modifying treatment plans to effectively manage emergency cases in accordance with contemporary medical standards.
