University of Basrah Organizes a Lecture on Learning Design
The Ibn Sina Center for E-Learning at the University of Basrah organized a lecture on learning design in engineering as part of the Ministry's course on teaching methods for blended learning.
The lecture aimed to introduce the cognitive, psychomotor, and affective domains of learning, as well as different types of learning such as acquisition, discussion, inquiry, practice, collaboration, and production, according to Bloom's Taxonomy.
The lecture, delivered by Dr. Audai Basheer Issa, Director of the Ibn Sina Center for E-Learning, included a presentation on the Learning Design Toolkit using MS Excel. He explained how to create learning types, educational objectives, and learning outcomes for courses, in addition to summative and formative assessment.
