University of Basrah Organizes a Seminar on the United Nations' Stance on the Bosnian Civil War
The Cultural Center at the University of Basrah, in cooperation with the College of Arts, organized a seminar entitled "The United Nations' Stance on the Bosnian Civil War (1992–1995)." The seminar was attended by students, faculty members, and those interested in cultural and intellectual affairs.
The seminar aimed to enhance historical and political awareness and highlight the role of the United Nations and its political and humanitarian positions.
The seminar included the presentation of two research papers that addressed the dimensions of the international stance toward the Bosnian crisis and analyzed the international resolutions issued. It also discussed the impact of international interventions on the course of the conflict and its consequences at both the regional and international levels.
