University of Basrah Organizes Workshop on Medical Prescriptions
The College of Dentistry at the University of Basrah organized a workshop entitled “Mastering the Writing of Medical Prescriptions in Dentistry.”
The workshop aimed to enhance participants’ competence in preparing medical prescriptions in accordance with approved scientific standards, reinforce the principles of rational antibiotic use, and raise awareness of medication errors and ways to avoid them.
The workshop included a lecture delivered by Ms. Sara Adel Haji, who explained the fundamentals of writing dental prescriptions, reviewed common medication errors and methods of prevention, and presented clinical case studies to strengthen therapeutic decision-making skills.
