The College of Administration and Economics in Al-Qurna at the University of Basrah organized a workshop on the economic, political, and social implications of the Zionist–American war on the Islamic Republic.
The workshop aimed to review the social impacts resulting from escalating international conflicts, rising inflation rates, and declining development opportunities, as well as their repercussions on societal stability.
The workshop included the presentation of several research papers in which participants discussed the dimensions of regional and international conflicts and their effects on energy markets, international trade flows, financial stability, and socio-political security. It also addressed the rapid geopolitical transformations in the international system and the challenges they impose on development pathways and economic stability.
