The College of Law at the University of Basrah, in collaboration with Shatt Al-Arab University, organized its 14th scientific conference on the legal protection of intellectual property in light of technological advancements.
The conference aimed to highlight the concept of intellectual property as a driving force behind the engine of scientific progress in societies worldwide, encompassing both literary and industrial property.
The conference included the presentation of several research papers, through which researchers discussed the significance of intellectual property rights in the contemporary era, emphasizing that adherence to their protection has become a fundamental requirement for countries engaging in cross-border commercial transactions.
