The University of Basrah Organizes a Cultural Carnival Celebrating Iraqi Women
The College of Law at the University of Basrah organized a cultural carnival in celebration of Iraqi women and their contributions to society.
In a speech delivered during the event, the Dean of the College of Law, Dr. Aqeel Fadhil Al-Dahan, stated that such activities organized by the university aim to strengthen the role of women in Iraqi society and shed light on the challenges they face across various aspects of life.
He further added that family cohesion within society is closely linked to the importance of women’s role, as well as their psychological and social stability, which are essential for building a happy and cohesive family.
