A master’s thesis at the College of Engineering, University of Basrah, examined the autonomous navigation of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) through the use of deep reinforcement learning.
The thesis, submitted by student Maryam Alawi Haddad, aims to enable UAVs to operate autonomously in different environments, with the ability to avoid obstacles and reach their designated targets via the most efficient possible route, without direct human intervention.
