Book on Drainage Engineering by a Faculty Member at the University of Basrah Has Been Published
Dr. Ali Hassan Dahim, a faculty member in the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah, has published a book titled "Drainage Engineering."
The book covers the foundations and general principles of drainage engineering, starting with basic concepts, objectives, and historical development, and culminating in the importance of drainage systems in protecting infrastructure, improving agricultural production, and addressing environmental and health challenges. It also discusses the classifications of different drainage systems, including surface, subsurface, and stormwater drainage systems in cities.
