PhD dissertation at the University of Basra Explores Optimal Management of Groundwater Desalination
A PhD dissertation at the College of Engineering, University of Basrah, explored the optimal management of groundwater desalination in the Umm Qasr region of southern Iraq.
The dissertation, submitted by student Kawakib Nasser Abdul'Hassan, aimed to develop an optimal management system for groundwater desalination in the Umm Qasr region using reverse osmosis technology.
The dissertation comprised five chapters in which the student discussed the collection of field and laboratory data related to groundwater quality and conducted monthly measurements of groundwater levels from June 2023 to December 2024.
